Little Treasures
This exhibit will offer holiday shoppers a wealth of handcrafted art with beautiful, unique pieces they won’t see in any mall.
I will be showing a selection of framed watercolors that explore both the human form as well as still life. The gift shop will also carry my handbags made in collaboration with other local artist by upcyling their old canvases into handbags and yarn bags, putting a new spin on wearable art.

Texture! - Somewhere to Lay My Head
I love the the human form. I love the way it curves and bends. I love the way it moves and can express. I love the endless variety of variations.
I also love textiles for much the same reasons.
In this series I wanted to play with the relationship between bodies and fabrics, their differences and similarities. Smooth bodies rendered in continuous line ink pen painted in water colour on crisp but soft muslin poised on textural textile landscapes of fabric, fur and chunky hand knit swatches. Each half aiding and supporting the expression of the other.
